Typical Working Hours
Our graduates step into roles that offer both stability and flexibility. Most dental offices operate during the traditional working hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. However, some offices also offer shifts during early mornings, evenings, or weekends to accommodate patients’ needs or work four- and ten-hour shifts, providing our graduates the flexibility to choose hours that best fit their lifestyle.

Advancing Your Career
After graduating from the dental assistant program and getting placed in your first job as a dental assistant, you may consider advancing your career further by becoming a registered dental assistant (RDA).
An RDA is a dental assistant who has obtained essential skills and passed the state’s licensing exam, enabling them to perform a wider variety of skills than an unregistered dental assistant.
